(also this is my first game use of my Sissel muse, so: HMD me! Also, major spoilers for the game if you continue reading. I won't bother spoilering specific sections, because if I did I'd have to spoiler the whole application, really. Summary: There are a a lot of twists in Ghost Trick. It's on iOS. Go buy it and play it, it's like a few hours of gameplay. Do it now, before you read this, or be forever spoiled.)
In Character Information
Name: Sissel
Series: Ghost Trick
Canon Standing: Post-game, in the new future.
Age: 10 - 11 years old, approx; however, he still appears to be a few month old kitten due to shenanigans.
Birthday & Astrology Sign: May 2nd, Taurus
Arcana: Temperance
Personality:
Sissel deviates from the idea of a normal cat in quite a few ways, and the least of which is the fact that he's a faux-living paradox. Sissel plays the straight man(/cat) in a world of crazy, quirky personalities - Sissel is logical, in many ways cunning, and smart about humans and their mannerisms. He can see that Jowd's decision to die is nothing more then resolving his own guilt, rather then trying to help Kamila. Many of his puzzle solutions manipulate humans into doing what he wants them to - from making them call someone to putting themselves in a position for him to stop them from interfering. He even manages to convince Yomiel that two people died when they were both saved from death by him, without Yomiel noticing at all - when one was killed by being obviously shot in the face. Sissel is smart and quick on his feet, and knows how to manipulate situations to suit his abilities. On the same note, Sissel is a snarky sort of guy - he typically tends to make sarcastic quips and make literal statements about metaphors. For example; "Spray as though your life depended on it!" "I'm dead, though...". Sissel tends to make these quips in his head, but seeing as 'inner monologue' bleeds into 'actually talking' in the Ghost World, these slip out very, very often. Sissel is very much perceptive and understands, even if he's literal minded. Like mentioned about humans, Sissel understands how certain human inventions work very quickly, and utilizes them to full effect. However, he's used to experimentation, too: you might find your lights flickering suddenly, or your communicator suddenly going off as he plays with the internal circuitry in his Tricks. While Sissel is a snarky, perceptive, and smart cat, he's not too wonderful.
Sissel, post-game, is still slightly aloof and self-centered. In the first iteration of the timeline, Sissel point blank refused to help save people - this, of course, being pre-game, and thus even more flawed then he is now. Sissel has developed past his self-centeredness slightly, but he's still a cat and such concepts don't just fall away so easily. Sissel, however, has a big heart to boot - in the final battle against fate, he refuses to let Lynne die because her being crushed could actually traumatize her. He goes back in time because it's all of their last hopes, and he's bonded to all of them. Which is another thing that Sissel does - even if he's aloof, Sissel bonds to humans quickly. This is especially true of those that take care of him or actively help him - such as Lynne, or Yomiel. When Sissel bonds to someone, he warms to them considerably - he won't allow them to be killed or hurt if it's possible for him to stop it. He wants the best for them, and can be vigilant in watching or assisting them. He enjoys watching them interact with others, and overall likes human contact - he begs for someone to help him, as a kitten, in his own way, until Yomiel (and Jowd, in the new future), saves him. (He'll be in a similar situation here, really.) Sissel has problems taking care of himself, notably - he's a domesticated housecat, and doesn't know very much about the world. Notably, he knows very basic things about the world - presumably, things that Yomiel had told him, or he learned when he was human. He can't read, but he knows about basic concepts like Rube Goldberg machines - however, as time goes on, more and more things confuse him - like the idea of a torpedo, for example. However, he's able to still utilize these items without really understanding how they work, because of how his Tricks work.
Sissel is still a kitten due to the Temsik Fragment, and as such is pretty much one of the most adorable things on earth. Not even gonna lie, here. He may or may not use this to his advantage, too, in this new world.
APPEND: ARCANA REASONING:
Sissel has three major arcana that can be recognized. He varies between Hanged Man, Death, and Temperance - Hanged Man represents who he is at the beginning, Death represents his story (ha ha), and Temperance represents him at the end. He begins devoted to his own selfishness, but quickly rebounds from the concept of being dead and sacrifices searching for himself on his own to take a shot in the dark. (This is prevalent in other ways throughout the story, as well.) As his story continues, he grows in contact with the many players in the story - Lynne, Missile, Jowd, Kamilla, the Justice Minister, and that guy's family. In doing so, he grows attached to all of them - developing a deeper interest and like for humanity then he had before. In doing so, he grows into new life - he develops beyond his cat nature and understand what human beings are like, deep down. However, he develops past Death into rebirth - he is restored to himself as a kitten in the new future. His experiences in his final mission - joining together with Missile and Yomiel to succeed - represent the co-operation in Temperance, and he grows into the card very well. Sissel comes out as a fully developed character - albeit, of course, that there's one thing out of balance: his soul and his body. Temperance fits him very well, endgame - and thus, that's what I picked. I figured I'd include this for context!
Backstory:
Major game spoilers, anyone?
Canon Powers:
Temsik Fragment - Almighty;
The Temsik Fragment stuck inside Sissel has two powers it's exhibiting on him constantly. First of all, it constantly tries to return him to the state he was in when he died - aka, perfectly fine, without any injuries. This is toned down from instantaneous regeneration to a Spring-of-Life esque effect - he’s regenerating from most any wound. As a side note, he cannot feel pain - his body is a shell for his soul. Secondly, he is constantly giving off Temsik radiation. While this doesn’t mean you’ll get cancer if you pet the kitty, it means if you die within a radius of his body, you gain *spooky ghost trick powers*. The practicality of these powers vary, and change as you spend time as a ghost - although, unless you get a Temsik fragment stuck in you, you’ll most likely never end up in Sissel’s state of living death - just death.
All of Sissel’s Ghost Tricks are Mind-based; some have secondary elements that’ll be mentioned as they come up.
Ghost Trick :: Fate Aversion;
When Sissel is within possession distance of a body that died within the last 24 hours, he is able to go back to four minutes before their death and attempt to prevent the death from happening. His success depends on cores and cooperation with whomever comes along, albeit the victim cannot change what they do during those 4 minutes. If he succeeds in changing fate, the death is rippled out of existence - anyone not directly related to the death will remember nothing of it. (It’s basically a matter of ‘if you spectated, you remember. If you didn’t, you don’t.’)
Ghost Trick :: Ghost World;
Sissel can swap between the Ghost World, where time stops, and the normal world, at will. This is the only way he can swap from possessing his body to other objects, as well - he cannot swap in real time.
Ghost Trick :: Possession & Manipulation (Manipulation is a Phys + Mind based.) ;
Sissel is able to possess and manipulate nonliving objects, such as lamps, via the cores that they hold. This manipulation is pretty much tweaking with the inner gizmos of something - his body being a special case. He requires a core to do this, and while cores are not well elaborated on how they work, it’s generally “convenient lack of cores” or “convenient lots of cores”. All people with destiny strings in the city have cores - this is to allow Sissel to use his telepathy. Sissel is completely unable to manipulate any living body besides his own.
Ghost Trick :: Telepathy;
Sissel can commune with anyone with a core by entering the Ghost World and reaching out to them - once establishing a connection, he can speak telepathically while operating in real time. He tends to bleed stray thoughts this way - his inner monologues can leak into your head if he’s currently talking with you. (The other way around is opt-in.)

[The feed is clear, without static or any sort of background noise.]
Hello, network.
[Sissel’s at least caught on this is a network of people, now. It’s interesting to watch, so he’s picked up stalking threads.]
Can anyone repair this?
[The camera flicks on, pointed directly at a scarf that’s laying on the ground, tattered with long gashes along it.]
It’s a gift from an old friend. I’d be in your debt if you’d repair it for me.
[There’s a quiet thought bleed of the name ‘Yomiel’, a soft whisper, before the camera shuts off.]
Please and thanks.
[And the post shuts off.]
3rd Person Example
Sissel hadn’t been alone in a long time, really. Really and truly alone, without anyone - Jowd, Yomiel, Lynne... and he was slowly figuring out that he needed to find either them or someone who could take him in until he found them. He’d lost track of his assigned house - reading wasn’t something he was good at - and now he was wandering the streets, a lost little kitten in a big, scary city. He could feel the fellow cat in his mind - his Persona, it’d said - a steadfast, calming presence. It helped him remain calm, and not just go rubbing up against the next person to pass’s leg.
What it didn’t stop him from doing, however.
Was mewling.
So the small, red-scarfed black kitten mewled and mewled as he walked, trying to grab someone’s attention, be noticed, be helped. He needed human contact and his ghost tricks wouldn’t let him do half of the things a human could. He needed someone’s help.
Now... to find someone, already...
